---Dress Code & Comfort---

What should I wear?

"The Union of Us" has an elevated casual dress code—think put-together but not formal. "The Day We Do" has an elegant vibe: refined, classy, and chic without being black tie (semi-formal). For the "Happily Ever After Party," we're going for a sexy look. We want everyone to feel confident, bold, and captivating.

Will the events be indoor or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, and drinks and food afterwards will be seamlessly outdoors and indoors. All other events will be indoors.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply move the ceremony indoors. Rain or shine, we are still tying the knot.

---Travel & Accommodations---

Will there be accommodation?

We have a group discount for rooms at the Lone Star Court (https://www.lonestarcourt.com/). Reach out to the Bride or Groom to get a room with our discount. Other recommended hotels (depending on what event you want to be close to and what you want to do when visiting the area) are listed on the 'Travel' page.

Where should I stay?

Visit the 'Travel' page for a list of recommended hotels.

What is the best way to get to each event?

Since both Austin and the Texas Hill Country are widely visited travel destinations, rideshares like Uber and Lyft are commonly used. However, it could get expensive to use a rideshare from Austin to Wimberley since it is a little over an hour drive. If you plan to stay in just the Hill Country area or just Austin, you can easily use Uber or Lyft to get around. However, if you want to go back and forth multiple times we recommend renting a car.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is plenty of parking at all of the events.

Are there other activities to do in the area?

Coming Soon - more details for what to do in Austin Texas or in the Hill Country of Texas will be posted on the THINGS TO DO page.

---Guest List & Invitations---

Can I bring a Plus-One?

Yes. When you RSVP, you will have the option to enter your plus-one's name and RSVP for them.

Are children invited?

Yes and No. If you are invited to 'The Union of Us' and 'The Day We Do' events, children are invited as well. However, if you are invited to the 'Happily Ever After Party', that is an 18+ only event.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

Go to the RSVP page and simply click 'Update Response'. You can also click on the RSVP button on the Home page to be directed to the RSVP page.

--- Food & Drinks ---

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Make sure you input your dietary restrictions when asked during the RSVP process. This helps us get a head count for the variety of options that we will be providing, along with removing any foods that people are allergic to.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Yes, all 3 options will be available throughout the events.

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely! however shots are not allowed at 'The Day We Do' event due to venue rules.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. Outside alcohol of any kind is not allowed at any of the events. If you have a specific drink or liquor that you would like to have at the event, give the Bride and Groom a text message and they will have it provided.

---Ceremony & Event Details---

Will there be assigned seating?

There will be assigned seating during 'The Union of Us' dinner event. There will not be assigned seating for anything else. For the ceremony we will also not be having a His and Hers side.

Where can I share photos from the wedding?

---Gifts & Extras---

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Your presence is the best gift, but if you insist, we won’t say no.
